Systir Go Viral & 2026
We have to apologise for not updating our site for ages! We have been so busy mixing our debut album, which is due very soon. We’ve gone a bit mad on a few platforms, with our cover of the Kate Bush song “Army Dreamers” getting millions of views on Instagram and Tiktok. You can see the YouTube version below. We have loads of plans for this year - our UK debut in May, our return to Germany in October and to Oulu, Finland in November - plus some very interesting dates coming up in Latvia and Estonia.
New Dates (China, Iceland & Germany)
We are really please to let you all know that we will be very besy in the next wee while with an extensive debut tour in China this October to organise, which will take us across the country over two weeks.
But first we have a few concerts coming up in Iceland in May (our first time there) , alongside some very special appearances in various places - you can find out details on the LIVE page of our site with our debut in Germany at Mainzer Musiksommer in late July. Also to come are a few really great appearances so follow us for details. And here is a new video we just dropped - Caitríona beautifully capturing the classic “Skye Boat Song” in her own inimitable way!
ECHOES OF IRELAND Premiere Sunday February 9th
This Sunday at 6pm GMT on YouTube (EST 1pm) join us to view Michael McGlynn’s huge biographical film “Echoes of Ireland - The Music of Michael McGlynn which features Systir alongside a host of extraordinary musicians, composers and academics.

Here is the beautiful “When I was in My Prime” which had a huge response at the Your Roots are Showing last month. A sublime story of love betrayed. Recorded live at Soundscape Studios in Dublin, producer Brian Masterson and video Michael McGlynn and George Hutton.
Systir In JAPAN
While travelling with ANÚNA in Japan last week we had a chance to sing a few songs, and we chose the iconic “Zombie” by Dolores O’Riordain.

Systir and Game of Thrones
Last weekend we were lucky enough to spend time in The Kicking Donkey & George’s Bar in Bundoran singing a few of the fine songs from Game of Thrones . The beautiful “Jenny of Oldstones” has a solo sung by Lorna and “The Rains of Castamere” is probably the best known of the songs from the series.

New Single “Army Dreamers”
At last we will be releasing our viral version of “Army Dreamers”, the Kate Bush classic as arranged by Ash McGlynn, to all streaming services on April 24th. Recorded in Dublin by Brian Masterson, this song means a huge amount to us, reflecting the times we live in alongside the revival in the interest in Kate Bush, who was a formative influence on so many of us.
