Tá bean sáinnithe i ndomhan na Sí. Is neach osnádúrtha é an púca a athraíonn a chruth. Cuirtear mothú an uafáis in iúl go tréan trí ghlór Lauren, í i gceannas ar Systir, agus trí dhath fuaime traidisiúnta na fliúite, á seinm ag an bhfliúiteadóir Seapánach Kozo Toyota.

A woman is trapped in the world of the Sí, the otherworld. This beautiful melody translates as “Tune of the Púcaí”, púcaí being shape-shifting supernatural beings. The sense of dread is carried forcefully through the voice of Lauren leading Systir and the traditional sonic colour of the flute, played by Japanese flautist Kozo Toyota.

Is bean ón slua sí mé
Do tháinig thar toinn
Is do goideadh 's an oíche mé
Tamall thar lear
Is go bhfuilim sa riocht so
Fé gheasa mná sí
Is ní bheidh ar an saol so
Ach go nglaofaidh an coileach
Is caithfeadsa féin
Tabhairt fén lios isteach
Ní taithneamh liom é
Ach caithfead tabhairt fé
Is a bhfuil ar an saol so
Caithfidh imeacht as
Ach béadsa ag caoineadh
'N fhaid a bheidh uisce sa toinn
Is ná deinig aon ní
Leis an ndream thíos sa leas'
Is bean ón slua sí mé
Do tháinig thar toinn

I am a woman of the fairy host
Who came across the sea,
And I was stolen in the night
For a time overseas,
And I am in this condition,
Under the spells of a fairy woman,
And I shall be in this world only
Until the cock crows.
And I myself must
Go in beneath the fairy fort.
It is not pleasing to me,
But I must undertake it.
And all who are in this world
Must depart from it.
But I shall be weeping
As long as there is water in the sea,
And have nothing to do
With the people below in the fairy fort.
I am a woman of the fairy host
Who came across the sea.

SYSTIR, meaning "sister" in Icelandic were created to forge a distinctive and eclectic musical identity focused on the female voice.

Systir's performances span original songs and arrangements alongside works by the 11th-century abbess Hildegard of Bingen and contemporary artists such as Janelle Monáe and Kate Bush. Central to their music is the story behind the songs, personal and historical. Systir explore universal human emotions and experiences that resonate broadly across audiences.

Systir have toured Italy, China, Estonia, Japan, Latvia, Germany, Ireland, Finland and Iceland in the last two years. Irish composer Michael McGlynn serves as artistic director.
